The Town of Bristol requires Dump Stickers for all Bristol property owners that wish to use the Transfer Station. Anyone who does not have a visible Dump Sticker on their vehicle will not be allowed to use the Bristol Transfer Station. Dump Stickers may be obtained at the Town Clerks Office in the Bristol Town Office Building for $5.00 per sticker..
General household garbage is collected at the upper transfer station. The Town's lower facility accepts construction and demolition debris, metals, burnable items, appliances, small propane tanks, leaves and wood products.
The Facility is open to Bristol residents, Bristol taxpayers, and seasonal guests staying in Bristol by permit, which can be obtained at the Town Office. Proof of status will be required.
All material must be from a residence or construction site in the Town of Bristol.
In the case of a holiday observed by the Town of Bristol the Transfer Station will be closed and will reopen the following day (ex: if there is a holiday on Monday the transfer station will be closed and instead open on Tuesday).

Recycling Electronic Waste - What to do with old computers, cell phones and rechargeable batteries.
http://www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/materials/ecycling/donate.htm
This EPA link gives you lots of options for recycling at no/low cost all of
those power cords, printers, computers, cell phones etc. Some manufacturers will take their own back but some stores (Best Buys and Office Depot just
for example) will take any manufacturers. They will even take smaller
televisions. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
