MINUTES PRESENT: Roger Nicholls, Co-Chair, Wendy Costigan, Chair, Glenn Dorr, Barbara Greenwood, Deborah Doe, Bill Barrett, Nancy Gavalis, Andrew Hemingway, Sarah Joseph, Deborah Gilbert. ABSENT: George Corrette In light of the fact that this was not a regular Trustees’ meeting, there were no minutes read or approved and no treasurer’s report. They will be presented at the September meeting. Deborah Gilbert informed the board that Sue Brundrette had tendered her resignation effective immediately. Molly Owen received the second highest amount of votes in the last election, so it was decided to invite her to fill the position until the next election. Roger Nicholls made the motion, Bill Barrett seconded and the motion passed as all were in favor. Deborah Gilbert asked if the board would be willing to advance the price of purchasing the rubber ducks for the upcoming duck race and be reimbursed out of the race proceeds. We are looking at purchasing 2500 ducks for an estimated cost of $1.00 each. Barbara Greenwood made a motion that the board advance $2500.00 to purchase the rubber ducks with the stipulation that the board be reimbursed from the race proceeds, Deborah Doe seconded and the motion carried as all were in favor.
