1. Secretary’s Report:

Moved that the minutes be accepted; First by Sue Brundrette, seconded by Nancy Gavalis – (passed)

3. Librarian’s Report –

• Summer reading ready to go. 
• Yard Sale made $2,500.  Bristol/New Hampton Explorers did traffic.  Friends donated $100 to the Explorers.  The Trustees moved to also donate $100.   1^st Barbara Greenwood 2nd Bill Barrett (passed)
• Time to renew membership to library trustees association.  But there is no money in the meetings and memberships line. Discussion on benefits.  Motion was made to take money out of the budget 1^st Bill Barrett 2^nd Glenn Dorr (passed)

4. Correspondence -  No correspondence at this time.
5. Old Business –

• Page position discussed.  James stated that he will be working through the month of June, but will be leaving after that.  We had talked about not replacing with another page.  James’ brother, Matthew had come in to ask about the page position.  Discussion about what type of help is needed.  Really need another person with the responsibility of keeping a key and being able to open and close.  Barbara Greenwood moved that we authorize Debbie Gilbert to advertise for the new position. 2nd Sue Brundrette (passed)

    Discussed giving James $50 as a farewell gift instead of a dictionary.

• Rugs are in.  Floor waxing. Debbie Gilbert is doing the Brochure to share with summer residents.  Still working on it. Suggestion was made to add a thermometer to the summer brochure to show the amount at this time. 
• Sarah Joseph  and Andrew Hemingway have been working on the project for the duck race.  Wants to set up an organizational meeting. Advertising (include Claire Moorehead) -

·        Debbie Gilbert, Nancy Gavalis, Wendy Costigan, Glenn Dorr, Sue Brundrette and Debbie Doe volunteer

·        On Old Home Days – August 29^th.

·        July is advertising

·        August is push ducks months

·        Want to sell 2500 duck 1- $3, 2 for $5

·        Benefits - All money is going for the building fund –

·        Bookmark  - on the back everyone who donated to the duck racing

·        Looking for Matching funds –

·        Andrew has found ducks that cost $1-1.25.

·        Debbie Gilbert will register with the town/state for raffle permit.

·        Slogan, to do list, how many ducks, prize structure

6. New Business –
   • Motion made by Debbie Doe – “That the library be closed on Friday July 3, 2009 and Saturday the 4^th.  Seconded by Barbara Greenwood. (passed)
   • Trustees are going to get together to dust on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 1:00. 
   • The rugs are in.  Debbie Gilbert talked to Cheryl about waxing.  Debbie Gilbert hopes that the waxing could take place on the 3^rd.
   • July 11^th is the summer time resident meeting.  Brochures need to be ready.
   • Glenn Dorr wants to organize a Fund Raising Committee.  Trustees are going to talk about the Fund Raiser Committee.  July 14^th meeting. August no meeting.
   •  Nancy Gavalis is concerned about the railing on the ramp.  Bill Barrett will check it out.
