DEAD RIVER COMPANY DONATES 100 GALLONS FOR RAFFLE

Dead River Company of Bristol, NH has donated 100 gallons of #2 home heating oil to help benefit the Town of Bristol’s Old Home Day fund. Those who buy a chance not only help the community and support its history and tradition, but they may help themselves to a huge savings this winter as well! “We are very pleased with Dead River Company’s donation to Bristol’s Old Home Day” states Claire Moorhead, Community/Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Bristol. “Not only are they willing to step up and help support a community event and tradition, but they are doing it in a way that will also help a local family – this is a real ‘win-win’ for everyone!” The prize is 100 gallons of #2 home heating oil,

Raffle tickets for this fabulous prize are being sold during the summer concert series on Thursday nights and at Bristol Town Hall. More local ticket venues will also soon be available, and tickets will be sold all day during the Old Home Day celebration on Saturday, August 23rd. The drawing for the grand prize will be held at the close of family fun Bingo on that Saturday afternoon, which runs from 2:30 – 4:30 pm under the tent. Tickets are only one dollar each or six tickets for five dollars – a real bargain given the price of oil these days! Time is running out - so hurry and buy your tickets, and support a great community event at the same time. All proceeds will benefit the Old Home Day fund.
