The Town of Bristol is seeking qualified candidates for a Seasonal Maintenance Person (June-August approx 30hrs per week). This Part-Time position performs a full range of general maintenance including basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing as well as grounds maintenance at all Town Buildings and Town Property. Some knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in grounds maintenance work. The suitable candidate must demonstrate an: Ability to perform and recognize the need for minor carpentry, masonry, and plumbing repairs. Ability to operate and perform minor servicing on light power equipment. Ability to follow written and oral instruction. Physical ability to perform work required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees. Ability to get along with the public. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, with experience performing grounds keeping or building maintenance work; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Salary range is from $10.00 to $13.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
