The primary function of the Assessing Department is to ensure that all property within the Town of Bristol is assessed fairly and in accordance with the New Hampshire laws governing property assessment.
Assessing conducts various practices to ensure an equitable distribution of the tax. Assessments are based on fair market value of property and are applied in a fair, equitable and consistent manner.
