Town Permitting - Applications and Regulations

The Town of Bristol has updated policies for events, peddlers, and use of Town Property. Those policies, including fees, can be found below. If you have any questions about any of the documents or requirements, please don't hesitate to contact the Town Office, (603) 744-3354.

Ordinances, Rules, Regulations:

  • Alcohol Ordinance
  • Building and Public Property Use Policy - The purpose of the police is to set and define the approved uses of Town buildings and Town property. The new policy also includes a Schedule of Fees, Historic Town Hall Guidelines for Use, Kelley Park Guidelines for Use, Central Square Guidelines for Use, and a Checklist of requirements for the Applicant's.
  • Hawkers and Peddlers Ordinance - This Ordinance covers any "vendors, hawkers, peddlers, traders, farmers, merchants or other persons who sell, offer to sell, or take order for merchandise from temporary or transient sales locations within the Town of Bristol".
  • RSA 287-A - Raffles
