Energy Code

Today's building energy codes provide in excess of 30% energy savings compared to the codes of a decade ago. Current codes are expected to save U.S. home and business owners an estimated $5 billion annually (as of 2012). Since 1992, building codes have also resulted in about 300 million tons of avoid CO2 emissions. The Energy Code Application, if required, must be filed with the NH Public Utilities Commission and the approval number must be submitted with you Land Use Permit Application.
