Notice of Halloween Road Closure

On October 31, 2022, the Town of Bristol Community Events Committee will be hosting its annual Halloween event with activities in the neighborhood along North Main Street. This location has been chosen so that we are able to safely spread out the participants and keep pedestrian traffic spaced out and flowing smoothly.

Event Description:

- Event hours are from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, which allows for set-up and clean-up for the event.

- Community-wide Trick or Treating will be from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

- We will leave the neighborhood as we found it: litter will be handled by the Town of Bristol

- North Main Street from Pleasant Street to Mayhew Street will be closed to ALL vehicular traffic beginning at 4:00pm

- There will be Halloween music playing from the Tapply-Thompson Community Center building

- Parking will be located at Newfound Memorial Middle School, Bristol Elementary School and other public parking locations

- Private entrances would be the responsibility of the property owner to restrict usage, if applicable

- If you do not wish to welcome trick-or-treaters to your home, please be sure to keep your outside light off and consider posting a sign

In an effort to allow trick-or-treating in the safest way possible, the Town of Bristol has posted town-wide Trick-or-Treating Guidelines on its website and Facebook pages – (www.townofbristolnh.org / www.facebook.com/bristolnh). Please take a moment to review the guidelines for the night.
