Assistant Water Distribution/Treatment and Sewage Collection Operator :

The Town of Bristol is now accepting applications for a full-time Water & Sewer Assistant position. Under the general supervision of the Bristol Water & Sewer Superintendent, this position performs a variety of the Department’s daily tasks. This position provides staff assistance and support to the water distribution and sewage collection/treatment systems. The Assistant possesses a Grade 1 Water Distribution/Treatment and Sewage Collection.

Water & Sewer Assistant Operator in Training (OIT) 

The Town of Bristol is now accepting applications for a full-time Water & Sewer Assistant OIT position. Under the general supervision of the Bristol Water & Sewer Superintendent, this position performs a variety of the Department’s daily tasks. This position provides staff assistance and support to the water distribution and sewage collection/treatment systems. The Assistant OIT is encouraged to achieve a Grade 1 Water Distribution/Treatment and Sewage Collection certification. This is the entry level for the water/wastewater systems operator series. The individual will continue to gain enough knowledge, through on-the-job training and outside courses.
