Administration

The Fire Chief is responsible for the administration of the Bristol Fire Department. The Fire Chief is responsible for developing the budget for the department, policies and procedures, and handling citizen inquiries. 

The Fire Chief is also responsible managing the department's Fire Prevention Division. Fire Prevention involves conducting fire and life safety inspections, plans review, and public education. To find out more about this important function of the Fire Department go to the Divisions tab. 

Assisting the Fire Chief is the Administrative Assistant. This position greets visitors to the Fire Station and inquiries from the public. The Administrative assistant is responsible for managing the department's schedule, EMS Billing, and recordkeeping.
